Kaltasin Beachouse Farmstay sits at the water's edge on Billings Spit, the sandy finger of land where the Sooke River meets the sea. The beach is right outside the patio doors: a wide, walkable tideline where herons stalk the shallows and eagles work the river mouth.
Inside, the self-contained suites are beautifully renovated with an artistic mix of vintage and contemporary finds. Mornings start slow, with coffee on the deck, the Basin flat as glass, and the Sooke Hills still holding the last of the mist.

It's a working small holding farm. The guest house is spotless, and beautiful. The beach is right out front of the patio doors.
The location is lovely and the house has been beautifully renovated. Amazing views, and our host was also so kind.
Close enough to enjoy Victoria. Far enough for outdoor adventures around Sooke. Gracious host.
